It's officially summertime, and for me that usually means the protective styles are ready to be seen. Over the past few months, I've been really taking care of my natural hair to help it's growth and nourishment. I make my own Aloe Vera oil and leave-in conditioner, along with experimenting with the infamous rice water. So far so good! Lately, I've been seeing these beautiful goddess locs on black women that fall way below their butt or all the way down to their ankles. Baby hairs swooped to perfection with lip gloss on. When we walk it's like, we are everything and we know it. It always amazes me how we can exude such natural beauty. So after being inspired and watching endless YouTube tutorial videos, I decided I should try some on myself. I figured I'd record my process, that way if the end result came out decent enough I would post it on my YouTube for beginners like myself. 14 hours later, and I love them! Maybe I had to redo half of my head but that's okay! I tell myself it's a part of the process. Check out my tutorial video below! | MUA: Grace IG: @Gracetheface_ |
